I can remember writing stories in elementary school about my favorite animals. I used to give them names, jobs, a background and all.

As I grew older, I began to fall in love with sports which over time took my attention away from writing. I was blessed to play for one of the best college football programs in the nation.

 

January 2017, my football career was cut short. Since then my passion for writing and telling stories with my words slowly returned.

​

My goal was to only write stories about my life growing up that I could share with my uncle Derrin Perkins who is currently incarcerated in order for him to create a visual in his mind of how the streets of D.C are today and how much they have changed. My goal now is to touch individuals who have or is facing any adversity in their lives.
